Matt Rodin (Jamie) He/she/they. Matthew is grateful to be here and queer. He’s a singer-songwriter and creative generalist originally from Chicago. Previously: Roger in RENT (Paper Mill), Hedwig in Hedwig… (Milwaukee Rep), Berger in HAIR (Weston Theater Co.), MASS (Kennedy Center), Next to Normal (Baltimore Center Stage), and stars in the upcoming new movie-musical BEAU. In 2020, he released Matt Rodin: Live at Home and he continues to play shows in and around NYC. He’s the creator and host of The Come Up (Broadway Podcast Network) and The Red Carpet Challenge (Broadway.com). He’s also worked as a video director and editor for Cynthia Erivo, Ingrid Michaelson, SoulCycle, The Tony Awards, Hadestown, Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, How to Dance in Ohio, Playbill, Broadway.com, BroadwayWorld.com, Write Out Loud, Broadway Advocacy Coalition, and more. He’s indebted to his biological and chosen families, Erin, Julia, Merri, Spencer, and the COMPANY company. His performance is dedicated to his real-life Paul, Sam (and their dog Penny).
