Tyler Hardwick (PJ) is a Rochester, New York native who has appeared on Broadway-most recently in the Tony Award winning revival of Once On This Island (Storyteller – OBC) and Motown the Musical (Eddie Kendricks). You may have seen him across the country as he opened the First National Revival Tour of Once On This Island as Daniel or in the First National Tour of Motown the Musical as Norman Whitfield. Tyler had the pleasure of playing CC White in the first African-American production of Dreamgirls in Seoul, South Korea. Regionally, you’ve been able to catch him in some incredible productions at Steppenwolf as Pharus in Choir Boy. The Old Globe as Claude in Hair the Musical, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Casa Mañana Theatre, Bay Street Theatre and Studio Theatre. Off the stage, Tyler appeared on NBC’s The Blacklist and one of the most revolutionary television shows of our time-Pose on FX, The 72nd Annual Tony Awards and Late Night With Seth Meyers. If you were spending your holiday season tuned into the television, you may have caught him on Good Morning America 3 during his solo segment. You’ll catch him again on GMA3 this holiday season… wink* When he isn’t acting, he is traveling around the globe, taking selfies with his little pup Benny, or finding the best tacos available. Endless gratitude to my family, friends, mi amor, my supportive team, Merri Sugarman, Spencer Gualdoni at Tara Rubin Casting and the entire creative team for your trust and collaboration.
